SECURE U.S. GREEN CARD BEFORE THE EB-5 INVESTMENT AMOUNTS INCREASE ON 1 JANUARY 2027
The EB-5 minimum investment threshold is scheduled to increase on 1 January 2027. Investors who file Form I-526E before this date can lock in the current, lower investment amounts and avoid an impending increase of at least $100,000 to $137,500.
While the 30 September 2026 grandfathering deadline has passed, the EB-5 Regional Centre Program remains fully authorised through September 2027. It is still completely open to new applicants seeking U.S. permanent residency for themselves, their spouses, and their unmarried children under 21.
