REMOVAL OF OCCUPATIONS FROM SSML
As you will be aware, planning levels exist for each occupation on the State Sponsored Migration List (SSML). Once the planning level has been reached the occupation/s are removed from the SSML. This has been outlined at www.migration.sa.gov.au
- Sponsorship availability applies at the time of decision for new sponsorship applications.
All occupations listed will receive Priority Processing 2 by DIAC regardless of sponsorship availability.
The following occupations will be removed from the SSML:
- 221112 - Management Accountant
- 232412 - Illustrator
- 233612 - Petroleum Engineer
- 272511- Social Worker
- 331213 - Joiner
- 411213 - Dental Technician
*This means that even if the application has been submitted on-line and the documents sent, these applications will not proceed. If the application is for an off-shore visa, it will not be processed. However, if the application is for an on-shore visa, it will be assessed automatically against the current Off List criteria and a decision made accordingly.
