CANADIAN IMMIGRATION EXPECTED TO INCREASE IN 2016

NUMBER OF IMMIGRANTS TO INCREASE IN 2016: We expect 2016  to set to continue to change the prospects for Express Entry applicants in particular appear encouraging  many eligible applicants and families to lodge under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

The Immigration program has changed the Canadian economy for the year 2015, with the launch of the Express Entry selection system which was introduced on 1st January 2015.  With a newly elected government, the new government has promised to deliver more for future and present applicants for immigration to Canada, there are much changes expected for the year 2016.

A webinar hosted by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 16th  December 2015, a CIC Policy Analyst made some important announcements regarding the short- and medium-term future of Express Entry, it said that the number of invitations issued per round is expected to increase as the pre-Express Entry inventory of applications is finalised.  Therefore, it said that  it is expected that the minimum score of applicants  invited to apply will drop.

It was also said many applicants during the year 2015, the primary goal have been to get in the Express Entry pool and increase their ranking within the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).  Applicants who have received an Invitation to Apply (ITA) have been given only 60 days to submit a complete application for them to apply for permanent residence to Canada.

SELECTION POINTS UNDER COMPREHENSIVE RANKING SYSTEM FOR 2016 TO DROP: The latest updates and news from CIC state that the number of applicants drawn in each draw will soon be increased. Also, since the importance that the CRS point requirement is set to carry on to decrease and applicants interested in immigrating to Canada are increasingly looking towards the Invitation to Apply (ITA).

If an applicant has met the requirement of the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points and in order the application is been invited to apply when Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) act upon a draw from the Express Entry pool, the applicant then should expect to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) within a day’s time.

Presently, the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement has gone down in latest Express Entry draw.

As per the instruction of Minister of Citizenship and Immigration,  the respecting invitation for applying for Permanent Residence visa under the Express Entry system keep changing the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points, here is the latest update.

SELECTION POINTS ON 13TH JANUARY 2016: The number of invitations that may be issued during the period beginning on 13th January 2016 is 1,518.  The present selection points under Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points is set at 453 points as on 14th January 2016.

INVITATION TO APPLY (ITA): There are two stages towards submitting a successful Invitation to Apply (ITA) for an applicant orelse the applicant will be requested to complete the online submission forms and also will be then required to upload all the supporting documents for his application to be then selected and approved after the Invitation to Apply (ITA) approval for the candidate and accompanying family members.

When submitting few forms look to be straightforward, some of them require extensive information and details that need to be furnished before lodgment.  And it is important that all supporting information are gathered well in advance prior to lodging the Expression of Interest application so that when you are given 60 days time the applicant will be in a position to provide all information to lodge a successful Immigration application. At the same time additional information are to be provided with address history,  detailed travel history and work history timeline.

The important factor is also  to be looked in the work forms as most of the applicants find it difficult in obtaining the supporting documents for the work history and while making such errors can decline the Immigration application.

Applicants can apply under Express Entry system which includes: The Federal Skilled Worker Program, The Federal Skilled Trades Program and The Canadian Experience Class and obtain their family visas provided they have the pass mark.

Applicants need to assess their eligibility before they can proceed in lodging a Express Entry application. All applicants must meet minimum language requirements in either English or French and also have their qualification assessed with ECA (Educational Credential Assessment).

Applicants can find out if they are eligible for any of the Canadian immigration programs, including the federal economic programs that are processed under Express Entry, please forward us your detailed resume for yourself and your spouse to assess.
